Terms of service
Last updated 25 September 2026
These terms are the agreement between you and Derek Wang, who runs Corollary (“we” and “us” below). Using the app means you accept them.
Age, and students under 18
You must be 13 or older to use Corollary. We ask your date of birth when you make an account and do not create one below that age.
If you are under 18, or under the age of majority where you live, a parent or guardian must agree to these terms for you. By letting you use Corollary, they accept these terms and are responsible for your use of it, including any purchase. A parent or guardian can ask us to close the account at support@getcorollary.app.
Companion chatbots may not be suitable for some minors.
Your account
You need an account to use Corollary, and you are responsible for what happens under it. Keep your sign-in to yourself. You can close the account from Settings at any time, and closing it deletes your work.
Your work is yours
The handwriting, documents and questions you put into Corollary belong to you. You give us permission to store them and to send them to the model that answers you, because that is how Cora works — nothing more. We do not claim ownership of your work and we do not use it to advertise.
What Cora is, and is not
Cora is a language model. It is wrong sometimes — confidently, and about things that look simple. Check anything that matters, and do not rely on it for a grade, a qualification, or any decision with a consequence. Corollary is a study aid, not a teacher, an examiner, or a source of professional advice.
Your school or exam board decides what counts as acceptable help with your work. Using Corollary where that is not permitted is between you and them.
Fair use
Do not use Corollary to break the law, to harass anyone, or to generate material that would harm someone. Do not try to extract the service’s prompts or resell its output as your own product. We can close an account that does.
Paying
Paid plans, if you take one, are described at checkout: what it costs, how often it renews, and how to cancel. You can cancel at any time and keep access until the period you have paid for ends.
If you bought on the web, you can have a full refund within 7 days of a payment, for any reason or none — write to support@getcorollary.app and we will return it. After 7 days, cancelling stops the next payment and you keep access until the period you have paid for ends. You can cancel yourself from Settings at any time.
If you buy a subscription inside the iOS app, Apple takes the payment and charges your Apple Account. It renews automatically at the end of each period unless you turn it off at least 24 hours before then. You manage and cancel it in your Apple Account settings, not in Corollary.
If you bought inside the iOS app, Apple took the payment and Apple issues the refunds; we cannot do it for you. Their process is at reportaproblem.apple.com, and they are usually generous inside the first two weeks. We will still help you work out what happened.
If you got the app from the App Store
Apple’s standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement governs your licence to use the iOS app. These terms apply as well. Where the two conflict about that licence, Apple’s agreement wins.
These terms are between you and us, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for the app or its content, and has no duty to maintain or support it. If the app fails to meet a warranty that applies to it, you can tell Apple, and Apple will refund what you paid for the app, if anything. Apple has no other warranty duty for it. Apple is not responsible for any claim about the app, including product liability, failure to meet a law or regulation, consumer protection, or a claim that the app infringes someone’s intellectual property. Those claims are ours to handle, within the limits in these terms.
You confirm you are not in a country under a US government embargo, and not on a US government list of prohibited or restricted parties. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you.
Ending it
You can stop using Corollary whenever you like. We can suspend an account that breaks these terms, and we can discontinue the service — if we do, we will give notice and a way to take your work with you.
The boring necessities
Corollary is provided as it is, without warranties. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, and our total liability is limited to what you have paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules, and any dispute will be heard in the state or federal courts located in New York County, New York. Nothing here takes away a right you have under the consumer law where you live.
